20대 대학생 김모씨는 2022년 카타르 월드컵을 맞아 '스포츠 토토'를 했다. 그런데 다음날 토토 사이트가 갑자기 사라졌다. 김 씨는 "월드컵 기간이라 친구들과 돈을 모아서, 배팅했는데 사기였다. 어떻게 이럴 수 있느냐"며 분통을 터뜨렸다. 이어 "보상은 또 어떻게 받아야 하는지, 잃어버린 돈 생각만 하면 잠이 안 온다"고 토로했다.

세계인의 관심이 쏠리는 2022년 카타르월드컵 기간 동안 불법스포츠도박 사이트들의 유혹이 급증할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 이에 스포츠토토코리아와 라이브스코어는 일반 시민들에게 불법스포츠도박에 대한 경각심을 제고시키는 한편, 불법스포츠토토 신고센터를 이용한 제보를 독려하기 위해이번 캠페인을 기획했다.
현재 국민체육진흥공단이 운영하고 있는 '불법스포츠토토신고센터'에서는 불법스포츠도박 사이트 운영 관련자와 이용자, 접속 차단을 위한 사이트 주소 신고 등불법스포츠도박 근절을 위한 신고 포상제도를 시행하고 있다.이번 캠페인은 라이브스코어 회원이라면 누구나 앱에서 퀴즈를 맞히는 방식으로 이벤트참여가 가능하다. 첫 번째는 "불법스포츠도박 운영자 및 이용자, 홍보자를 신고할 수 있는 신고 채널의 이름은?"이라는 질문이 주어졌으며, 이어 두 번째로 "불법스포츠도박 운영자 최대 신고포상금은?"이라는 문제가 출제됐다.
두 가지 문제의 정답을 정확히 맞힌 회원들 중 추첨을 통해 GS25 모바일상품권 1만원권(100명)을 증정하며, 당첨자는 12월 20일에 발표된다.

더불어민주당 이상헌 의원은 1일 오후 3시 국회의원회관 제9간담회실에서 2022 e스포츠 토크 콘서트를 개최했다. 토크 콘서트는 1부 e스포츠와 공공 정책, 2부 e스포츠 토토 제도화를 주제로 진행됐다.
1부 e스포츠와 공공 정책에는 철권 프로 선수로 활동 중인 '무릎' 배재민, 이민호 크래프톤 e스포츠 총괄, 이지훈 젠지 e스포츠 상무, 정윤재 문화체육관광부 게임과장이 참석했다. 1부에서는 공공 역할을 중심으로 e스포츠 인식 개선, 지방 e스포츠 경기장, e스포츠 산업 수익 창출 환경에 관한 이야기가 오갔다.
먼저 e스포츠 인식 개선에 대해서는 모든 참석자가 인식 개선이 필요하다고 입을 모았다. 특히 이민호 총괄은 "선수 생활 이후에도 다양한 경로로 e스포츠에 종사할 수 있어야 하고 또 그럴 수 있다는 인식을 심어주어야 한다"라며 미국처럼 대학을 중심으로 e스포츠 산업 생태계를 확장시켜야 한다는 의견을 제시했다.
지방 e스포츠 경기장에 대해서는 지역 상설리그 등 아마추어 경기 활성화 및 팬과 선수 간 소통공간으로 활용하는 방안이 제안됐다. e스포츠 역시 팬과 선수의 호흡이 중요하고, e스포츠 경기장이 아마추어 경기 활성화에 쓰임으로써 지방 e스포츠 저변을 넓혀야 한다는 취지다.
e스포츠 산업 수익 창출 환경에 대해서는 게임사와 구단에서 어려움을 토로했다. 우리나라는 미국이나 중국에 비해 절대적인 인구가 부족하다는 한계가 있기 때문이다. 이에 최근 이상헌 의원이 통과시킨 e스포츠 구단 세액공제 제도와 같은 정책이 계속 마련되어야 한다는 주장도 제기됐다.
한편, '무릎' 배재민은 프로 선수 연봉 문제와 관련해 "구단이 없으면 선수도 없다"라면서, "선수 입장에서야 연봉을 많이 받으면 좋지만 무리한 지출이 심해지면 구단 유지 자체가 어려워질 것"이라고 밝히기도 했다.
2부 e스포츠 토토의 제도화에는 김대희 부경대학교 교수, 김철학 한국e스포츠협회 사무총장, 이양환 한국콘텐츠진흥원 게임본부장, 이종준 국민체육진흥공단 스포츠산업 본부장이 참석했다. 2부에서는 e스포츠 토토 도입 필요성에 심도 있는 논의가 이루어지며 참석자 간 다소 의견이 갈리는 모습을 보였다.
먼저 이양환 본부장은 "e스포츠는 토토를 진행하기 위한 인프라가 아직 부족하다"라면서 토토 도입보다 산업 활성화가 먼저 이루어져야 한다는 입장을 밝혔다. 토토가 진행되려면 일정 수 종목이 필요하고 그에 맞는 선수들도 있어야 하지만, 현재 토토 도입이 가능한 종목은 리그 오브 레전드 정도라는 것이다.
반면 김철학 총장은 "e스포츠는 관람스포츠이며, 토토와 배팅도 관람의 일환이다. e스포츠 토토는 전 세계적으로 이미 양성화되어 있다"라며 e스포츠 토토 도입을 적극 지지했다. 또, "국내 불법 토토 시장을 규제하기 위해서라도 e스포츠 토토를 양성화해야 한다"라며, e스포츠 활성화와 e스포츠 토토 도입은 어느 하나가 선행되어야 하는 것이 아니라 함께 추진되어야 한다고 강조했다.
김대희 교수 역시 "현재 토토에는 공정성을 담보하기 위한 장치가 많이 마련되어 있다. 특히 e스포츠는 전자적인 장비로 진행되는 만큼 기존의 관리 제도와 함께 더 안전한 환경에서 토토가 진행될 수 있을 것이다"라며 e스포츠 토토 도입을 지지했다.방송인 김용만이 과거 스포츠도박에 13억여원을 베팅한 사건이 재조명되고 있다. 그가 월드컵 두 달 전 16강 진출팀을 예측한 영상이 뒤늦게 화제를 모으면서다.
축구 국가대표 출신 방송인 안정환은 지난달 24일 유튜브에 올린 영상에서 김용만과 함께 조별 16강 진출국을 예측했다. 이 영상은 지난 10월 촬영된 것으로 알려졌다.

다만 천재지변, 경기 일정 변화 등으로 급작스럽게 발매가 취소되는 경우가 종종 발생하기 때문에 고객들은 상품을 구매한 이후에도 다시 한 번 일정을 꼼꼼히 살펴봐야 한다.
이처럼 갑작스러운 경기 일정 변동이나 천재지변 등으로 발매가 취소되는 경우에는 구입한 영수증을 지참하고 판매점을 방문하면 구입금액을 전액 되돌려 받을 수 있다.
또 참여금액의 100배가 넘는 적중금액은 우리은행을 찾아가면 환급이 가능하다. 이와 반대로 부주의로 영수증을 분실하거나 발매가 취소된 사실을 모르고 있는 경우에는 환불이 불가하다.

최민정은 21일 서울시 중구 소공동 롯데호텔에서 열린 MBN 여성스포츠대상 시상식에서 대상과 함께 상금 1천만원을 받았다.
최민정은 지난 2월 열린 2022 베이징동계올림픽 쇼트트랙 여자 1500ｍ에서 금메달, 여자 1000ｍ와 3000ｍ 계주에서 각각 은메달을 획득했다.
이어 올림픽 직후에 열린 국제빙상경기연맹(ISU) 세계선수권대회에선 4관왕에 오르며 종합 우승을 달성하는 등 올 한 해 최고의 시즌을 보냈다.최민정은 “최고 권위의 상을 받아 매우 영광스럽다”며 “앞으로 많은 여성 스포츠인들이 큰 사랑을 받았으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다. 또 ‘한국 여자 축구의 간판’ 지소연(31·수원FC)은 최우수상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다. 지소연은 “2023년 호주·뉴질랜드 여자 월드컵에서 후회 없는 경기를 할 수 있도록 열심히 준비하겠다”고 소감을 전했다.

이정후는 올 시즌 타율(0.349), 안타(193개), 타점(113점), 장타율(0.575), 출루율(0.421) 등 5개 타이틀을 거머쥐며 최고의 시즌을 보낸 뒤 각종 시상식에서 트로피를 싹쓸이하고 있다.그는 지난달 2022시즌 KBO 정규시즌 최우수선수상(MVP)을 받은 데 이어 조아제약 프로야구 대상과 한국프로야구선수협회 주관 올해의 선수상, 한국프로야구 은퇴선수협회 주관 최고의 선수상, 동아스포츠 대상 프로야구 올해의 선수상을 휩쓸었다.

이정후(24·키움 히어로즈)가 12월의 첫날에도 '트로피 수집'을 이어갔다.
이정후는 1일 서울 서대문구 스위스 그랜드 호텔 그랜드볼룸에서 열린 조아제약과 일간스포츠가 공동 제정한 '2022 조아제약 프로야구 대상' 시상식에서 대상과 함께 상금 1천만원을 받았다.
그는 "주변분들 도움 때문에 신인 때부터 좋은 성적을 거둘 수 있었다"며 "감사한 마음을 품으며 앞으로의 선수 생활을 이어가겠다"고 말했다.
2017년 이 시상식에서 신인상을 받은 이정후는 5년 만에 KBO리그 최고 선수로 올라섰다.
올 시즌 이정후는 타율 0.349(553타수 193안타), 23홈런, 113타점, 85득점, 출루율 0.421 장타율 0.575를 올렸다.
이정후는 지난 11월 KBO 시상식에서 타격 5개 부문(타율·안타·타점·출루율·장타율) 1위 트로피와 정규시즌 최우수선수(MVP) 트로피를 모두 손에 넣었다. 조아제약 프로야구 대상에서도 이정후는 대상 수상자가 됐다.이정후의 아버지는 '바람의 아들' 이종범 LG 트윈스 코치다.
